About Periyar University

Candidates seeking admission in the university must fulfill the eligibility criteria for the respective courses. One can visit the official website of the university to download the application form. Periyar University Result 2024

Periyar University follows the semester system for all its courses viz. Odd and Even semester. The examination for odd semester takes place in the month of December/January and for even semester, it happens in the month of May/June. It declares the results of all its courses on its official website. Students can visit the ‘Results’ tab on its official website and enter their Registration Number along with Date of Birth. Click on ‘Show Results’ and the result will be displayed on the screen in the form of a PDF. Download the same for future references.

Library: The university has a total collection of 90,871 volumes of text and reference books on various disciplines, 167 periodicals, 16 online journals.
Hostel: The university has 3 hostels namely Ladies Hostel separately hostel for PG and research scholars and a Gents Hostel. All rooms are equipped with basic and modern facilities to cater to students’ needs.
Bank: A branch of Canara Bank is available on campus to render services to the teachers, students, and the public.
Medical Centre: There is a health center on campus that functions on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Everyone from students to teaching and non-teaching staff can avail of medical consultation.
