Syed Ammal Engineering College, a self-financing institution, is one among the several educational institutions founded by Late. Dr. E.M. Abdullah. It was established in 1998. It aims to achieve Academic excellence in technical education and to produce Disciplined and Qualitative engineers and technologists to fulfill the expectation of the society. It has got 80 rooms and can accommodate 320 students in all. There is a separate block for dining, kitchen and store room. In the same block, one part of the first floor is used by the students of Islam for prayer and the next hall houses the indoor Gym.
