Tamil Nadu Theological Seminary popularly known as TTS was established in 1969 in Arasaradi Madurai and aims at bringing justice and equality to the society by its teachings. A unique thing about this institute is that it has a theme that is decided in advance for a particular year, such as the theme for 2011-12 was “New Heaven New Earth – Towards Climate Justice”. In this way, it teaches its students to be more responsible and humble towards its society and, therefore, instills in them a sense of equality and belongingness. It has various programs aimed towards better shaping the personality of its students; Off Campus Program, Internship Program, City Dwelling Students Program, Village Dwelling Program and Mission and Ministry Program.
