About Ujjain Engineering College - [UEC]

Ujjain Engineering College is a public college that promotes technical education in the state with three core branches of engineering Civil, Mechanical, & Electrical. The institute further launched new branches of engineering like Electronics and Civil in 1985 and 1986. Computer Science Engineering was also introduced in the session 2001-2002. It received recognition from the AICTE and received a declaration as an autonomous engineering college by the State Government. Ujjain Engineering College offers undergraduate, postgraduate, Ph.D., and part-time degree programs in different branches of Engineering and Science. There are a total of eight departments in the institute offering quality and professional education to the students.

With a handful of well-qualified teaching faculty, the college stands out among the engineering colleges of Madhya Pradesh. The admission and selection criteria are based on the national level exams like JEE, GATE scores, depending on the type of course. Ujjain Engineering College Scholarships

Students who enrolled in the M.Tech course through the GATE entrance exam can apply for the scholarship program.
Students get scholarship money of INR 8000 every month according to the rules of AICTE if the institute is approved by AICTE, Delhi.
The institute has introduced the Swanath Scholarship for the new academic session 2021-22 due to the crisis created by the pandemic.
Eligible candidates must be an orphan who lost their parents in the pandemic, or the candidate must be the wards of Armed Forces & Paramilitary Forces, martyred in action.
Moreover, the annual family income must be less than around INR 8 LPA. A valid income certificate must be issued by the State or Union Territory Government.
