About Atmiya Institute of Pharmacy, Atmiya University

Atmiya Institute of Pharmacy (AIP) Rajkot was established in the year 2005 under the guidance of Atmiya Group of Institutions or Atmiya University,Rajkot with an aims to introduce Pharmacy programmes in emerging areas, development of institution and industry interaction, execution of plans to meet the growing and diverse educational needs of the community by providing excellence in pharmacy education with possible efforts towards the career of the students.

AIP is approved by AICTE, New Delhi, recognized by the Govt. of Gujarat and affiliated to Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad and the college is also approved by Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi.

Atmiya Institute of Pharmacy (AIP) Courses

The main courses in Pharmacy offered by AIP are the 2 years Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharm), 4 years Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm), 2 years Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm) and Ph. D programs. Pharmacy or Pharmacology is a profession responsible for preparation dispensing and appropriate use of medication and which provides services to achieve optimal therapeutic outcomes.

The AIP has laboratories housing advanced instruments to facilitate the research work which includes microwave synthesizer, Fourier Transform Infra-red spectrophotometer, IR microscopy, UV near IR spectrophotometer, Rotary Vacuum Evaporator, HPLC, etc. The institute also boasts of a state of art Animal House and Herbal Garden with useful medicinal plant species.
