Anbanathapuram Vahaira Charities College or AVC College, Mayiladuthurai, Tamil Nadu is an autonomous college established in the year1955. AVC College Facilities

Library: The College provides a library facility, consisting of 88,267books, 162 Periodicals including National Journals, International Journal, and Abstract Journal. There is a huge college of back volumes of journals. It also consists of a research journal for each department.
Hostel: There is a good hostel facility for its students. The College has a separate boy’s hostel with 250 capacities and a girl’s hostel with 200 capacities. The students who are admitted to the hostel must apply to the Deputy Warden of the hostel soon after the admission procedure gets completed. The hostilities get the facilities of the library, playground, only vegetarian dishes, auditorium, etc.
Health Centre: There are health care facilities for the students and staff members. All-time doctors, nurses, medicines, clinical instruments are available at the service. Minor treatments are done at the Health care centre of the college; blood pressure check is also done there. First Aid, ample hospital beds are available for the staff and students.
Transport: The College provides transport facilities to its students. There are pick and drop facilities for the students to ensure a safe and punctual journey. There are eleven buses for this purpose, and they cover most of the surrounding areas.
Museum: A Museum in the department of zoology is maintained to improve student skills. There is an availability of species, vertebrate, and invertebrate objects skeletons
