Bundelkhand Medical College (BMC), Sagar was established to improve the learning experience in the medical area along with providing a better health care facility to the general population in the entire Bundelkhand area. The motto of this college is “Tamaso Maa Jyotirgamaya” meaning take me from the darkness to the light, gives the vision and aim of this college which they strive to achieve.BMC aims at providing the right infrastructure and an environment of learning to its students so as to ingrain in them a culture of hard work thus preparing them for the future.

- Rapid development: This project was started in November 2007 and in a short time of two years it got the L.O.P. from the Medical Council of India and had its first academic session in 2009. Aggressive constructions are still going on with buildings for library, lecture halls, OPD block etc. being built.
