Admissions to all courses are merit and entrance based. Eligible candidates are supposed to apply on the website. The following steps mentioned below should be followed for the admission process:
How to Apply?
- NEET and NEET-PG qualified candidates have to submit an application form issued by the Secretary of the Selection Committee of Chennai’s Directorate of Medical Education.
- The forms are available online on the following websites only www.tnmedicalselection.org / www.tnhealth.org
- In addition to the online application form, candidates also have to send the print out of the filled-in online application form.
- Application fees have to be paid online.
- The applications will be processed by the Selection Committee.
- Counseling sessions will be conducted based on merit.
- Candidates with allotment orders at Chettinad Dental College & Research Institute will have to pay the fees before the deadline.

The following documents have to carried in their original states:
- Allotment order issued by the Secretary, Selection Committee, Chennai
- 12th and 10th Mark sheets
- Transfer Certificate after the completion of HSC
- Community Certificate
- Conduct Certificate from the institution last studied
- Certificate of Hepatitis B vaccination issued by a Medical Officer
- One 50 Rupees non-judicial stamp paper with the mentioned student name.
- 3 sets of photocopies of all the above original certificates.

- Migration Certificate for other state students (CBSE/Intermediate)
