GITAM School of Business Facilities
- Classrooms: The campus has 19 e-classrooms with a total intake capacity of 340 students per year.
- Knowledge Research Centre (KRC): The Centre has a collection of over one lakh fifteen thousand volumes. 1 Gbps Leased Line, providing connectivity to all the systems over the campus. The campus of GIM consists of a library with a collection of 27,000 books. The Library has subscribed to E-journals of reputed publishers and research databases like Springer link, EBSCO, ACM, ASME.
- Computer/ IT Facility: The Institute has a computer lab with 204 desktops and an internet facility exclusively for Management students. The institute has a computer lab consisting of 120 computers and an English language learning lab with an internet facility on all computers.
- Auditorium: GITAM maintains well-equipped centrally air-conditioned conference halls with a seating capacity of 500 students. The Institute has a mini-conference hall with a seating capacity of 60. It has an open-air auditorium with a seating capacity of 1500 provides the right aesthetic environment to organize cultural events.
- Games and Sports: The institute has a sports facility, gymnasium with a fitness center, indoor stadium and tennis courts on its campus.
- Hostels: GIM provides hostel accommodation for both boys and girls with a total intake capacity of 340 students.

Ques. Does GIM offer any twinning program?
Ans. Yes, GIM has a collaborative arrangement with Central Michigan University (CMU), USA students to study for one year in the USA to get an MBA degree from CMU.
Ques. Does a candidate have to come all the way to Visakhapatnam to attend GD/ PI in GMI?
Ans. No, the Group Discussions, as well as Personal Interviews, would be held at a number of cities across India. But candidates have to apply early to make use of this. The exact dates and venues would be advised at the appropriate time to all the candidates.
Ques. Does GIM have a separate admission process for students from abroad?
Ans. Candidates of Indian Origin (NRI) need to go through the same process by submitting applications with all documents. However, candidates of foreign origin need to approach Chairperson- Admissions by sending mail to [email protected] well in advance.
Ques. How GIM BBA or MBA (integrated) is different from other BBMs, BBAs or B.Com?
Ans. GIM is the first institute to offer BBM in the state. Since 1988, over 2000 students were graduated and successfully placed in careers across the world. The present curriculum is updated and will prepare the students for higher education, professional certifications (CA, CS, ICWA etc), Entrepreneurship or Jobs.
Ques. Is it true that GIM has a very high cut-off score in CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ GMAT?
Ans. It is true that the cut-offs were high in the past when the intake was low at 120 for MBA. However, as the institute has increased its intake to about 240, GIM would be short-listing more candidates for admissions. Hence the cut-offs would obviously come down considerably.
