It is known as the first department in India which initiated research & education in electronics & branches of Radio Physics. This premier institute is equipped with exclusive lab equipments to foster research study in this field under the direction of eminent scholars. It has achieved the status of ‘Centre of Advanced studies’ by UGC, where budding scientists are passionately working on their Radio Physics or related projects.Institute of Radio physics & Electronics is offering Graduate, post-graduate and doctorate courses in Radio Physics & Electronics. This is one department which has been granted financial assistance from World Bank & other International Organizations under TEQIP Program.
