KCE Coimbatore Admissions

Admission to the Karpagam College of Engineering, Coimbatore are merit based and entrance based.

The merit-based admissions (TNEA) are for the UG courses, that is, BE/B.Tech and the entrance based admissions (TANCET) are for the PG courses such as MCA, ME and MBA.
TNEA is conducted by Anna University in which a merit list of the candidates who have applied for the admission will be prepared on the basis of their marks in 10+2.
TANCET is also conducted by Anna University in offline mode through which students get admitted on the basis of their rank in the entrance exam.

How to apply?

Every year the college releases notification for admission to its UG, PG and research courses.
The candidates will be needed to apply online for the various courses.
If the candidate is interested in the UG course, then they will register for TNEA which is conducted every year. Shortlisted candidates will be notified through call or email.
For PG courses, the candidates need to appear for the TANCET exam. After the exam, the student will get shortlisted according to their ranks.
After the confirmation from the college, the students will go through counseling.
In the counseling process, interested students will fill their seats and go through document verification
After document verification, the college will finally allot the seat to the student.

Central Sector Scheme for College and University Students - it provides scholarships to the students who have to attain more than 80% in the H.S.C exam. Their annual family income should be less than 6LPA.
Tamil Nadu Government SC & ST Scholarship – It is provided by the state government to the students who belong to minority groups. The scholarship covers tuition fees and also the hostel fees.

Hostels: Separate hostels for boys and girls. The hostel has more than 531 well-furnished rooms for around 2500 boys and 1500 girls. The mess facility in the hostel is also very good. The hostels are well-equipped with Wi-Fi, reading room, game room, etc.
Library: The library is quite big and it contains more than 73,232 volumes.
