Markham College of Commerce, Hazaribagh, Jharkhand is a Government College which was established in 1974 and is one of the constituents of the Vinoba Bhave University. The College has been accredited by NAAC Grade B and scored 2.3 and has also been approved by UGC.

Admissions to the college are completely merit-based and require the candidates to hold at least a 10+2 degree with a minimum of 45% of marks. Admissions will highly depend on seat availability.

Library: The library consists of almost 12000 books which facilitate the students to gain knowledge from a wide variety of collections. The library reading room is fully furnished and very spacious, enabling students for group discussions.

Bank: The college has an in-house full-fledged bank (United Bank of India) inside the premises. This has been done to facilitate its students to deal with financial issues easily, without having to move out of the college.

Laboratories: There is a modern well-designed laboratory in the college with all the safety equipment. This makes sure that the students get to do practical experiments while studying the same.

Auditoriums: The college has a large and spacious auditorium named Swami Vivekananda Auditorium which can accommodate more than 2000 people at a time. This auditorium holds various events that are very much required by the students for recreation.

Gymnasium: There is also a well-equipped gym for the students to exercise and recreate themselves. Students get to avail the gymnasium anytime between the classes.
