About Maulana Azad University

Established in 2013 under Rajasthan State Government Act, Maulana Azad University is a leading state private university located in Jodhpur. The University has been a global knowledge center and boasts of educating more than 8000 students in multiple disciplines like Pharmacy, Technology, Management, Education, Science, Commerce, Arts etc.

The University runs nine major faculties and offers 25 + Undergraduate/ Postgraduate/ Professional courses approved by UGC. Applicants are required to pass an entrance exam for PhD admissions at MAU.

Maulana Azad University has instituted a ‘Training and Placement Cell’ to facilitate and help students in career counseling and placement in reputed companies. Some of the leading recruiters which participated in the last campus drive 2020 included Accenture, National Public School, Myntra.com, Micro Computer Services, Mindtech Solution, Jio Money, Fine Touch Madrasa etc.

Online Employability Training Program conducted for the Final Year students of MAU.
Admissions are merit based for most of the programs at MAU.
The total student enrollments during MAU Admissions 2020 was 2128.
The University provides Maulana Azad Fellowship Scheme (MANF) five year fellowships to students from six notified minority communities viz. Buddhist, Christian, Jain, Muslim, Parsi and Sikh, as mentioned by the Central Government.

Maulana Azad University Placement

The ‘Training and Placement Cell’ facilitates and helps students in their placements.
A number of seminars and workshops and meetings with the HR of the companies to secure a job or internship are organized.
Mock interviews, in house training sessions, written tests, group discussion for students to help them in preparation of interviews and exit/selection level /entrance exams etc.
Students are required to fulfil the minimum academic attendance criteria of 75% in all the semesters to participate in placement drive
Conducting Entrepreneurship Development Program for efficient placement of students

Ans. Yes, the University runs a 2 year full time Master’s in Hospital Administration ( MHA). You should be a graduate from any recognized university/institute with satisfactory aggregate marks in a relevant stream to be eligible to apply.

Ans. Yes. Hostel facility is offered for the institute’s students separately for boys and girls with a homely environment and at nominal cost. For students living outside the campus, Maulana Azad University offers transportation facilities at nominal charges through comfortable self-owned buses.
