MSEC Chennai Admission

The admissions for the college are based on the guidelines devised by Anna University. For B.E./B.Tech, the candidates have to apply for TNEA/ JEE Main. If the candidates secure the ranking needed for this institution, they will be called for the counselling.

For M.E., the candidates have to apply for TANCET and GATE. After the results, the admission will be given on the basis of the merit scored by the candidates.

The eligibility for both the courses are-

• For M.E., the candidates have a relevant degree in B.E/B.Tech with 50% aggregate (45% for reserved category).
• For B.E./B.Tech. they should have passed 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects.

The process of application is online and offline based on the convenience of the candidates.

Application Process:

• Visit official website of Anna University.
• The candidates can opt for the courses/institution based on the counselling code.
• Then, the forms are to be filled online for the entrance exams respectively on their websites.
• The forms can also be got from the office of the college and duly filled and submitted.
• Once clearing the entrance/ after the counselling, further admission processes commence.
