Motilal Nehru College (Evening)

Motilal Nehru Evening College is a public college and one of the largest constituent colleges of the Delhi University. The Motilal Nehru Evening College has an academic faculty of 35+ members for teaching various undergraduate and postgraduate courses to 3000+ students. The college offers different courses in different specializations such as Physical Sciences, Sanskrit, Physics, Mathematics, Hindi, Political Science, etc. The college also trains students by providing career counseling so that they can prepare themselves for the interviews taken by the invited companies.

Motilal Nehru Evening College Admission Process

Motilal Nehru Evening College admission to undergraduate courses is based on the CUET UG examination. The admission process includes appearing for the CUET examination and then appearing in the CSAS seat allotment. Registrations for admission at Motilal Nehru Evening College start after CUET result declarations. Candidates must select Delhi University while filling out the CUET application. Later, they can register on the DU CSAS portal and choose their [College + Course] preferences. The entire selection process is carried out through DU CSAS portal in multiple rounds. The Motilal Nehru Evening College admission process is as follows:

Step 1: Appear for the Entrance Examination

Motilal Nehru Evening College admissions for all courses at affiliated colleges, faculties, and departments are based on scores obtained in the entrance examination. The table below lists the entrance exam accepted for various courses at Delhi University:

Step 2: Registration on DU CSAS Portal and Filling of Courses and College Preferences

Candidates who qualify for the entrance examination must register on the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) Portal of Delhi University for the seat allotment. Once registration is done, candidates will be asked to fill college and course preferences. 

Step 3: Seat Allocation

The seat allocation will be done in multiple rounds for all programs. Seats are allocated based on scores obtained in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET), combination of college and program chosen, category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/UR) of the candidate, and availability of seats. 

Step 4: Blocking of Seats and Final Admission

Candidates can check their seat allotment results by logging into Delhi University’s Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) dashboard. Upon acceptance of seat, the college will check eligibility, verify documents, and confirm admission after receiving the admission fees.
