NCT Admission
Admission at National College is strictly based on the merit list published by the college.
Candidates, who want to take up any Undergraduate or Postgraduate course in the college should fill up the application form available online.
Candidates who want to get admission in M.Phil program, will have to appear in the University Entrance Test. Admissions will be provided based on combined marks of PG degree and University Entrance Test.
For Ph.D. admissions, the criteria is decided by Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappali.
Interview rounds are conducted for selected students. Dates of interviews will be declared shortly after announcing the merit list.

The following are the facilities offered by the college to cater to the needs and expectations of the students.
- Hostel: The College provides separate hostels for both boys and girls, to maintain privacy. The hostel is large with a huge capacity of 920 students. The boy’s hostel has 560 beds whereas the girl’s hostel has 360 beds.
- Library: The institute has a well-updated and furnished library with 115260 books 83 Journals, varying between different genres. The library has a study-friendly environment and the books are always available for the students to do self-study.
- Labs: The college has several labs for different departments where all the practical classes are conducted. Among the various labs, the computer lab of the college is mention-worthy. There are five computer labs with a total of 400 systems, to cater to the needs of all the students of the college for their training in Computer-related courses. All these systems are connected to the Internet for students’ use.
- Cafeteria: The campus also has a cafeteria which is open from 8:00 A.M to 3:30 P.M every day. It provides students with healthy and price worthy food.
- Sports and Fitness: There are separate football and cricket grounds in the college for the students to practice. The college also has athletic tracks and gym facilities.
- Auditorium Hall: The College has an auditorium hall where all the seminars are conducted. The hall room is Air-conditioned with a seating capacity of 450 students.
