PSCMR College of Engineering & Technology is SKPVV Hindu High Schools Committee’s latest contribution to the cause of education. The institute was established in the year of 2008.

• The Committee is a non-profit academic organization that had been managing very successfully schools and arts & science colleges from 2008, then extended its educational service activities to technology education area, and that led to the starting that year, of Potti Sriramulu & chalavadi mallikarjuna Rao College of Engineering & Technology -- almost the first such institute with in the Vijayawada city limits.
•  The college is affiliated to JNTU (K) made a modest beginning with an intake of 240 students, 60 each in the branches of ECE, CSE, EEE and IT. MBA course was added the next year, that is, in 2008.
• The campus is ideally located in the heart of the city and easily accessible from any part of the city and the suburbs, thanks to the frequent city bus services.

Events: JIGNASA: It is an event which is organized and celebrated in the college. Students and faculty enjoyed the most whole event.

Library:

PSCMRCET encourages every student to use the library and get knowledge and information. A spacious and well stocked central library with number of volumes, International & National journals of repute caters to the needs of the students of all branches.

• Almost all the newspapers and magazines are available for the students to access.
• Apart from this the library is also accessed to ‘EKALAVYA’ channel to download the lectures of eminent professors and scholars from IITs and IIMs.The library is open between 8AM and 8PM.

Collection:

Sports:  In PSCMRCET Institute, sports are included in the academic curriculum to encourage students in various co-curricular activities. The Institute has annual sports meet every year and students also participate actively in various other tournaments outside the college. Institute has 2 Volley Ball Courts, 2 Badminton Courts, 4 table Tennis Tables and 1 Cricket Net.
