About PPG College of Nursing

PPG College of Nursing was established as a part of the PPG Education and Charitable trust which was established in the year 1992 by Dr L.P. Thangavelu. The colleges offer courses in the field of Nursing.

The courses offered are diploma, Post basic, B.sc and M.sc in the field of Nursing. The college aims at providing education to all the sections of society.

The admission is based on the merit prepared based on the qualifying examination. There are many placement and clinical training practices available for candidates to learn in their respective field.

The college has maintained its ethos in academics and has excellent faculty to help students develop skills and knowledge. The Institute ensures proper and time to time extracurricular activities which help in engagement among the students.

B.sc Post Basic Nursing	Duration: 2 years Eligibility: Candidates must have completed GNM and must be a registered nurse.
M.sc Nursing	Duration: 2 years Eligibility: Candidates must have completed B.sc Nursing at least with 50% aggregate marks from a recognized institute. Specializations: Pediatric Nursing, OBG Nursing, Community Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing
Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery	Duration: 2 years Eligibility: Candidates must have passed class 12 with 50% aggregate in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from a recognized board.

PPG College of Nursing Admissions

The admissions are done by submitting the eligibility criteria to the Tamil Nadu Nursing Council, Tamil Nadu. The admission is provisional and subject to be approved from Dr M.G.R University, Chennai.

The admission is based on the preparation of the merit list based on the qualifying examination.

How to Apply?

Candidates need to visit the Tamil Nadu Nursing Council, Chennai to submit the eligibility certificates at the registrar office.
After submission of the eligibility certificate, candidates can make the online fee payment.
