Instituted in the year 2008, Siddhartha Institute of Technology and Sciences (SITS) has got affiliation from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University-Hyderabad (JNTUH), Hyderabad. It is private college, located in the Ghatkesar area in the State of Telangana having the Vision and Mission are directed to evolve information and to open the minds of the students to the knowledge that empowers them to employ their quality educational opportunities to the best possible limit. The prime objective of the SITS is to update and modernize the essence of professional education. Its aim is to deploy innovative teaching methodology which possesses an emphasis on rapid changing technological trends. This is to integrate classroom learning with real-time work experience in the industry concerned or in a related professional field. The college targets to encourage its pupils from the first year B.Tech itself and to identify suitable working areas and to execute projects of their own choice and interest.
The teaching-learning process is carried –out through the use of Over Head Projects (OHP) and LCD projectors. SITS’s excellent facilities include an extensive computer center, library, advanced lab for communication skills, internet center, and spacious seminar halls and Electronic Classrooms. SITS was Established under Gauthami Educational Society. It was registered with the Registrar of Societies vide Registration No. 470/1988. The seeds for providing quality education to people were sown by the opening of Siddhartha Residential High School at Boduppal. The School became very famous in the neighbor of Uppal within some years of establishment. Supported by the success of School, The Management of Society assured to start Colleges. The College became an integrated place for Education. Again by regular hard work and perseverance the number of seats and programs offered also enriched over a span of 3 years.

Library Facilities:
The college has a well-maintained, spacious, rich stocked of books containing 40,500 volumes along with 6250 titles, 152 National Journals and 106 International Journals with a seating capacity of 500 people at a time in an area of about 8,000 square feet. Database of the Library Software is well furnished and computerized using NewGenLib Software. The Library Transactions (i.e. issues and the return of books) are carried out by Bar Code Technology. There is a different Digital Library within the college consisting of 30 Computer terminals with online archives of Useful books and tutorials and online Journals. The college is providing NPTEL (National Program on Technology Enhanced Learning) video lectures. IEEE ALL – Society Periodicals Package (ASPP) 161 Journals are subscribed, which are IP based, hence no need for User Id and Password in SITS Campus.

There are various labs in the college with a vision to give more practical knowledge to the students rather than the conventional chalk-board practice of teaching students in order to shape their mind in a better way towards professionalism.
