Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam (Sri Padmavati University) is a state-level university located in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. Founded in 1983 by Sri N.T.Rama Rao, then-chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, with the aim to train female students to be better nation-builders. The university was founded under the Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam Act of 1983, which became effective on April 14, 1983.

Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam's campus spans 138.43 acres of lovely green area. SPMVV has four schools: the School of Sciences, the School of Social Sciences, Humanities and Management, the School of Nursing, and the School of Engineering and Technology. It has been ranked the 33^rd best college by India Today Ranking 2024. The university has been accredited with a Grade 'A' by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
