Thejus Engineering College, a project of Cheruvathur Foundation, was established in the year 2009. Admission to B.Tech courses:
- 50% of the seats are filled up based on the merit list prepared by CEE (Commissioner for Entrance Examination) as per the norms of the Government
- The other 50% of seats come under Management Quota and are filled based on the candidate’s merit in the qualifying examination and Entrance test (KEAM)
Admission to M.Tech courses:

50% of the seats are filled from the rank list produced by DTE, Kerala, while the remaining 50% of seats under the Management Quota are allotted as per the norms of the University
