About Thiagarajar College
Thiagarajar College Madurai was established in 1947 with an aim to serve the society by providing affordable quality higher education to all. It is an autonomous government-aided institution which is affiliated to Madurai Kamaraj University. The college is accredited with ‘A’ grade by NAAC and has been ranked 18th in NIRF 2023 Rankings among top colleges in India.
The college offers 25 undergraduate courses while 15 postgraduate courses. It also offers PhD & M.Phil. courses in various specializations. Some of the courses are government aided and others are self-financed. In total 512 students were successfully placed at different companies in 2019.
