PhD	Duration: 3 years Fees: INR 16,100 (for 1st year) Eligibility: Candidate should have a Master’s degree with a minimum of 55% (for general) and 50% (for SC/ST/Physically challenged)	Candidates will be selected based on merit in the entrance exam and qualifying exam. 50% preference will be given to the qualifying exam and 50% to the entrance exam. Candidates should have scored a minimum of 40% marks in the entrance exam.
MA	Duration: 2 Years Fees: INR 4850 Eligibility: Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree/ Graduation from a certified university. Specializations: Malayalam, Film Studies, Sociology, Journalism & Mass Communication, Environmental Studies, History, Linguistics, Local Development Studies, Cultural Studies	Candidates will be selected based on merit in the entrance exam and qualifying exam. 50% preference will be given to the qualifying exam and 50% to the entrance exam. Candidates should have scored a minimum of 40% marks in the entrance exam.

Thunchath Ezhuthachan Malayalam University Scholarship

The scholarship is named the ‘Nakshatra Scholarship’.

The university provides financial assistance to students of PG courses. They are offered a scholarship of INR 15,000.
