Vaigai College of Engineering was started by the Vaigai Educational Trust to offer services to the less privileged parts of the country. The objective of Vaigai College of Engineering is to produce top class engineers who have both subject knowledge and working knowledge. It is located in Madurai in Tamil Nadu and offers courses such as B.E. Mechanical Engineering, B.E. Civil Engineering, B.E Electronics and Communication Engineering, B.E Electrical & Electronics Engineering, and B.E Computer Science & Engineering. 

The college celebrates a lot of events with fun and frolic such as sports day, college day, women’s day, etc. The college is established in a large area and can be used for a variety of events by the students such as: sports day, cultural fest, etc. It also has a number of departments namely; Civil, CSE, EEE, ECE, MECH and Science & Humanities. The college is not biased towards any caste, religion or creed and aim at providing the best educational facilities to its students. They have various laboratories where the students can carry out various experiments for the sole purpose of learning.
