Vivekananda Institute of Education, Raipur was founded by (Late) Swami Atmananda. The college was established in 2007. It is affiliate to Pt. Ravishanker Shukla University and recognized by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The Institute has its own building specially designed for running teacher education courses. The college is run by Vivekananda Vidyapeeth, Charitable trust. The institute has started the B.Ed. Course and in the near future it will be developed as the Post Graduate Teaching and Research Centre.
