Kannur University Admissions 

Kannur University offers UG, PG, and Doctoral programs in the disciplines of Arts, Science, Commerce, Management, etc. Admissions to UG/PG programs in the University Teaching Departments/Centres will be made on the basis of the Online Centralized Allotment Process (CAP). However, B.P.Ed, M.P.Ed, and M.Ed are not included in CAP therefore the institute offers direct admission to these programs. Selections for admissions to Kannur University UG programs are based on the Merit of the candidate in the qualifying examination. But for BTech programs, the University accepts scores of the KEAM exam.

Admission to PG programs is purely based on the Entrance Test. However, MTech admissions are based on GATE scores. Also, MBA Program admission is granted based on the scores of KMAT/CAT/CMAT, Group Discussion & Interview. Admission to Integrated M.Com Programme shall be based on the entrance examination (60% weightage) and index marks (40% weightage) calculated as per existing rules followed. Kannur University Ph.D. admissions are the Entrance Test conducted by the University or scores of NET/GATE examinations conducted by UGC, CSIR, ICAR, and ICMR followed by an Interview conducted by the University.

Candidates seeking admission to a program at Kannur University may register through the application form available online on the official website of the University. Here are the steps to Apply for Kannur University Admissions:

• Visit the official admission portal of Kunnur University i.e. admission.kannuruniversity.ac.in.
• Now Choose UG Admissions/ PG Admissions.
• Choose the “Apply Now/ Login” option under the previously selected admission category.
• Click on the Apply Now link in the respective program.
• Register yourself using valid details and get your Application Number.
• Login Using Application No. and the set password.
• Fill out the form by entering personal details, qualifications, etc.
• Upload Photo, Signature.
• Pay the Registration fees by SBI Epay.
• Submit the Application.
• Take the printout of the Application form.

• Course & Conduct Certificate 
• Original Community/Caste Certificate /Anthyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) and Priority Household (PHH) category certificate (EWS) /The Income and Assets certificate for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) if applicable 
• Non-creamy layer certificate in the case of SEBC candidates
• Original certificates to prove the claim for grace marks, if any.
• Recognition certificate from the University of Kannur in the case of candidates who have passed their qualifying examination from other Boards/Institutes/governments, except BOARD OF HIGHER SECONDARY EDUCATION Kerala, VHSE Kerala, THSE Kerala, NIOS, Kerala Literacy Mission, CBSE, CISCE, and State/Central Equivalent
• Any document to prove Nativity. 
• Any other relevant certificate for any claim made in the application.

Kannur University also offers semester courses which are segregated as odd semester and even semester. Kannur University Campus

Kannur University comprises 7 campuses that are well equipped with different facilities and each campus has different departments related to Arts, Science, and Commerce. The seven campuses are Thalassery, Mangattuparamba, Kannur, Payyanur, Nileswaram, Kasaragod, and Mananthavady Campus. These campuses are upgraded regularly as per the facilities requirement of the students. Following are some of the facilities offered at Kannur University Campus: 

• Hostel: There are hostel facilities Available for both boys and girls in the Mangattuparamba campus. The hostel is located on the Kannur University campus of 21.73 acres. The hostel is equipped with all the facilities necessary for the comfortable life of students.
• Library: The library provides the facilities of DELNET and UGC INFONET. The library also has the facility of software SOUL, developed by INFLIBNET. The library is a recognized university as the research center of History, Sanskrit, Statistics, Philosophy, English, Sociology, Economics, Malayalam, etc. This part of the Kannur University Campus provides students with rich learning resources and the Environment. The central library is quite spacious and has a great collection of Journals, Magazines, Reference books, etc.
• Computer lab: In the computer lab, there are almost 20 computers with wifi-enabled connections. And there is also a separate facility for taking photocopies at Kannur University.
• Human Resource Development Center: The UGC – HRD Centre of Kannur University Campus aims at imparting continuation of cutting edge innovative and motivative training to Academic Professionals across the country enabling their career advancement and ultimate excellence in molding the young generation susceptible to be the receptor of the world of information with intellectual and emotional contentment and to nurture the true potential hidden in every individual to its peak for exploration of the same for the humanity.
• Inter-University Centre for Bioscience (IUCB): The Inter-University Centre for Bioscience at Kannur University Campus has been established as a part of the mission-oriented initiatives of the Higher Education Department, Government of Kerala. The most important area of expertise of the IUCB is structural molecular biology. The IUCB conducts workshops and special training sessions for the students and teachers of tertiary-level institutions. It is growing into a hub of frontier-level activity related to the research in Bioscience in general and structural molecular biology in particular.

Kannur University Scholarships

• Kannur University provides a scholarship called Mrs. Sudha Krishnan's endowment scholarship. This scholarship promotes and assists deserving and meritorious students belonging to financially weaker section UG 1st students who can apply for this scholarship at any of the Kannur University affiliated colleges. The aspiring candidates must not score less than 60% in class 12. The student's parent must be a fisherman with an annual income of fewer than 60,000 rupees.
• Students can also avail of fellowships granted by the Kerala government named E-grant for the students of the poor family so that they can also study.
