Maharaja Agarsain Institute of Technology (MAIT), Ghaziabad was established in 2008 by Shikshadeep Education Trust. It is affiliated to Uttar Pradesh technical university (UPTU), Lucknow. It is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE),New Delhi and recognised by Ministry of Human Resource & Development (MHRD), Govt. of India. It is an ISO 9001:2008 Certified Institute and approved by Board of Technical Education (BTE), Lucknow

MAIT is a unique endeavor since it has been founded entirely by the learned philanthropists, educationalist and eminent industrialists
Its campus is spread over 72600 square yards of land, administrative building and separate boy’s hostel
