About Viswajyothi College of Engineering and Technology - [VJCET]

Viswajyothi College of Engineering and Technology (VCET) was established in 2001. It is a private engineering college, run by the Syro-Malabar Catholic diocese of Kothamangalam. This institute is affiliated with Mahatma Gandhi University. VCET offers B.Tech. course in Civil, Mechanical, Computer science and Electrical and Electronic Engineering. VCET is situated about 40 KMs east of Nedumbassery International Airport
VCET campus is approximately 45 kms from the Aluva / Ernakulam railway stations.
VCET Campus is just on the side of State Highway No.8, about 5 Kms from Muvattupuzha en-route to Thodupuzha.

Library:

VCET was established a central library in 2001. It is spread over the area of 16400Sq.ft. The library has huge collection of Books, National and International Journals, Technical and other Magazines, CD ROMs on Engineering etc. for faculty and students to boost up their knowledge.

Hostel:

Viswajyothi provides excellent hostel facility for girls and boys. Hostels are well furnished with a cot, a table and a chair and can accommodate 250 and 230 boys and girls respectively. Members of the teaching staff are appointed as Resident Tutors in the hostel.

Sports:

Viswajyothi has facilities for Sports and Games. Every year Viswajyothi conducts all Kerala Basket Ball tournament “MAGNUM” in the mid of February.
