Amity Institute of Psychology and Allied Sciences is instituted under the prestigious Amity Group of Institutions in the year 2005 under the guidance of the Founder President Dr. Ashok Chauhan, the AIPS is affiliated to the Amity University and is located in one of the country's fastest growing areas. The college offers Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses in the field of Applied Psychology, Counselling Psychology and Behavioural Sciences

• The college imparts value and practical based education by training programs. Psychometric testing, Behavioural skills training, Effective behavioural change, Workshops and Publications on Behavioral Science issues are among the other activities pursued by the Institute
• AIPS aim at enhancement of Personality by inculcating behavioural skills in all the students of Amity University because behavior determines the success of an individual
• The college has various committees for academic excellence as well developing and enhancing talent of the students. The college has Sports Committee, Cultural committee, academic committee etc.
• AIPS Students were artist and actor in the movie "The Peace Seller". This film was part of Global Film Festival on "Peace and Spirituality". This movie was selected in the competitive category of Global Film Festival on "Peace and Spirituality" in the Youth Category
• The college conducts numerous training on Behavioural skills such as Training for Delhi Police Personnel on ‘Rediscovering Positive Attitude and Behavioural Changes’ and ‘Anger Management’ as part of the training for preparation for the Commonwealth Games 2010,NHPC - Self Renewal Retreat (Rishikesh) - Creating Meaningfulness of Life, Training on ‘Managing Self & Others’ for NHPC etc.

The Amity Scholarships have been initiated to encourage the talents of such students, thereby strengthening the roots of the future generation. The various scholarships that are given include-
Scholarships for Programs after 10+2-

• 100% Scholarship:
  Eligibility - 93% aggregate and above (excluding Physical Education/ Fine Arts / Performing Arts / vocational / non written subjects) in CBSE or ICSE Board of Class XII, 2014.
• 50% Scholarship:
  Eligibility - 88% aggregate and above (excluding Physical Education/ Fine Arts / Performing Arts / vocational / non written subjects) in CBSE or ICSE Board of Class XII, 2014.

Scholarships for Programs after graduation-

• 100% Scholarship:
  Eligibility - Students securing 93% aggregate and above ((excluding Physical Education/ Fine Arts / Performing Arts / vocational / non written subjects) in CBSE/ ICSE Board of Class XII and 80% in Graduation.
• 50% Scholarship:
  Eligibility - Students securing 88% aggregate and above (excluding Physical Education/ Fine Arts / Performing Arts / vocational / non written subjects) in CBSE/ ICSE Board of Class XII and 75% in Graduation.
• Sports Scholarship:
  To promote sports, it also provides some Sports Scholarships.
  10% Fee concession is accessible to Amity students, who continue their higher education at Amity Universities without any year gap
