JRN Institute of Aviation Technology, New Delhi, is the premier Aircraft Maintenance Engineering training institution which is approved by the Director General of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Govt of India to impart ab-initio training in the field of aircraft maintenance. The organisation is the concern of the Indian Institute of Aeronautics Group (IIA Group) which has been an active aircraft maintenance training conglomerate actively in operation for more than 40 years.

JRNIAT is the only DGCA-approved maintenance training institution located in New Delhi, the capital city of India. The strategic location within the vicinity of all the Indian major airlines Headquarters and India’s most active IGI Airport at Delhi gives it an additional advantage of maintaining contacts with the aviation stalwarts.

JRNIAT is the first DGCA-approved organisation to have the largest fleet of aircrafts available to impart practical elements of training to its students. This includes Learjet 24, Bonanza A35, SA-318C and Eurocopter EC120 well positioned in the hangar with all the supporting tools and equipment to perform and learn aircraft maintenance tasks.

Direct Placement: The Airlines and MRO directly approach JRNIAT and offer the vacant positions with fixed units of manpower requirement. The major part of such an induction process happens with AIRBUS India, Indamer Aviation and Airworks India.
Indirect Placement: Most of the airlines operators or MRO’s invite or request for providing information regarding the suitable openings in their departments. JRNIAT provides the companies with the credentials of the students and accordingly the students are invited for the personal interview or written test as desired by the HR for their final selection and placement within their organisation. Such indirect placements from JRNIAT are usually conducted by Indigo airlines, CAE International, Air Vistara, Spicejet, Go Airlines and most of the non-scheduled operators.
