About Shimoga Institute of Medical Sciences - [SIMS]

Shimoga Institute of Medical Sciences started in 2005 is a private autonomous university in Shimoga, Karnataka. SIMS Shimoga is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) and is recognized by the Medical Council of India. The institute is spread over 25 acres of land located in Bangalore – Honnavar highway. SIMS Shimoga offers admission to MBBS courses at the UG level and MD, MS and Diploma courses at the PG level. The library is open from 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM on weekdays and 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM on weekends.
