Surendra Institute of Engineering and Management (SIEM) was started in the year of 2009 under the management of charitable society Bidya Bharti Foundation. The main objective of the institute is to provide world class infrastructure and quality education to the North Bengal and its adjoining areas. It provides comprehensive learning opportunity through experiential methods to the students.
The SIEM offers Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in 5 streams which are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated by the West Bengal University of Technology. The students can take the admission on the basis of the WBJEEM exam. It also offers placement opportunities to its students and in the year of 2015, 17 companies visited for placement.
