Vananchal Educational & Welfare Trust, Garhwa, Jharkhand has been organized for the promotion of spiritual, physical, mental, mental, educational and cultural development and uplifting of adult and children of all ages without any discrimination on the basis of caste or religion and in the overall interest of mankind in general. It also aims to make the Rural and urban masses self-reliant, by opening Handicrafts Centers, Vocational Training Centers, Small Cottage Industries, Bio-Technology Development Centers, Software Parks, Typing/Computer Education, etc. in which people will be given opportunities.

Other self-employment programs on a cooperative basis shall be undertaken. It also tries to imrove the literacy rate amongst the people living in the rural and urban areas, and mostly to the people belonging to the scheduled tribes or scheduled castes. For this to happen, they run vocational training programs of different durations along with distant education mode, organize meetings, seminars and debates so that the education and employment can be generated vigorously. The trust is trying their best to develop these institutions and convert into deemed university in the future to help the people in need of education.
