VSBCETC, Coimbatore Admissions

The candidates will be eligible for admission to VSB College of Engineering Technical Campus if he/she has passed 10+2 and for lateral entry programs if they have passed in a 3-year Diploma course conducted by Tamil Nadu State Board of Technical Education or any equivalent institution.

Admission Procedure

The candidate shall be eligible in order to take admission in VSBCETC.
The candidate shall have qualified Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) test.
For both four years or lateral entry B.E. or B.Tech programmes, the admission will be based on TNEA Counselling for which the candidate has to register once the merit-list is out.
The admissions are made as per State Government Norms.
As per the norms of Government of Tamil Nadu, 65% of the seats are filled through Single Window Counselling and rest 35% seats through the Consortium of Self-Financing Professional Colleges.
The original documents of the candidates will be retrained till the Directorate of Technical Education gives the final approval.
According to TNEA Reservation Policy, seats are reserved for different categories.

VSB College of Engineering Technical Campus provides its students as well as faculties with many Academic facilities as well as other amenities.

Library: The College has a well-equipped central library which houses around 14822 books, journal back volumes and reports in all the disciplines such as engineering, management and technology. The Library also provides on-line access to a large number of full-text journal databases from DELNET publishers.
Hostel: The College provides well-constructed separate hostel facilities for both girls and boys and has adequate capacity for lodging the students. The hostel has in-house tight security. The mess facilities in the hostels are designed to meet international hygiene standards. Steam cookers and sterilized equipment are used to prepare wholesome, healthy food. The hostel also has a well-maintained RO facility.
Transport Facilities: VSBCETC helps students as well faculties travelling to college. The bus-system covers about 70kms radius and also brings students from neighbouring districts Coimbatore and Tirupur etc. at very minimal and affordable charges.
Laboratory: The College has lab facilities where the students can do the practical implementations in their required domain.
Medical facilities: The College provide 24*7 dispensary and a doctor for an emergency. The dispensary is well-equipped with medical kits.
