About Atmiya University

Atmiya University, established in 2018, is spread over 23.5 acres land in divine surroundings. His Divine Holiness Hariprasad Swamiji Maharaj, the present spiritual successor of Lord Swaminarayan is the mentor of ATMIYA University. Atmiya university is one among the six institutions in India to sign a MoU with University of Miyazaki. Atmiya university has been applauded and ranked by Statutory and Regulatory Bodies like UGC, DBT, DST, LSC, Knowledge Consortium of Gujarat, NAAC, NIRF, amongst others, from time to time.

Atmiya was the first to introduce BCA & B.Sc (IT) programs in Gujarat State and Biotechnology, Biochemistry & Industrial Chemistry in Saurashtra region. At the UG level, it offers B.Tech, B.com, B.Pharma, BBA General, BBA Hons., and BA. And at the PG level, it offers M.Tech, MBA, MCA, M.Pharma, and M.Sc. Admissions to B.Tech, M.Tech., MBA, and MCA will be based on respective entrance examinations. Admissions to other courses will be merit-based.

Atmiya University Admissions

Admissions to the B.Tech program will be based on the marks secured in the GUJCET.
Admissions to other UG courses will be merit-based and provided based on the marks secured in the qualifying examination.
Admissions to M.Tech courses for which admission will be based on the marks secured in the GATE/PGCET.
Admissions to MBA and MCA will be based on CMAT.
Admissions to other PG Courses will be based on the merit obtained by the candidates in their bachelor’s degree.

Atmiya university has a very dedicated training and placement department which holds an excellent record of placements. The university conducts special training programs for the students to cover the depth of recruitment and selection process followed by the companies.

The university also provides internships to the students to give them industry exposure, and lay the foundation of a student’s bright future. The university adequately mentors and counsels the students to prepare them for the recruitment process. The university also plans industrial visits and mock interviews to help the students gain practical knowledge.

Some of the top recruiters of the university include Amul, Bajaj, Nirma, Falcon, TCS, Axis Bank, Apollo hospitals, BYJU’s and many more. 85-90% of students get placed every year with salary package upto INR 9.0 LPA.

The university offers the following facilities for the students -

Library: The university boasts of an excellent library which spans over the ground floor plus 3 floors. It is centrally air-conditioned, well-protected with fire alarm CCTV surveillance. It has a vast collection of books, journals, e-books, e-journals, volumes, CDs/DVDs in a variety of subjects.

Additionally, the library has a video conferencing facility and NPTEL video courses, ePG pathshala, Swayam Programme and other E-Learning resources initiated by the Government of India.

The library uses NewGenLib software for Library automation with WEB-OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue), an online search facility.

ICT facility: The university has the following ITC facilities -
- Dedicated server for academic and research activities
- Computer Lab
- classrooms with video projector facilities.
- Audio/Video lecture recording room.
- Smart classroom.
- Language Lab.
- CMS System.

Cafeteria: The student cafeteria serves nutritious and hygienic food and beverages for the students at affordable prices.
Sports: The university provides the facility for both outdoor sports such as Basketball, Hockey, Football, Volleyball, as well as indoor sports such as Table Tennis, Chess, Carom, and Badminton.
Hostel: The university provides hostel accommodation for boys on the campus. There are 2 separate hostels which can accommodate more than 350 boys.

The hostels are quite decent and are equipped with all the modern facilities such as Gyms, common rooms, mess, sports grounds.

The rooms are airy, spacious and are equipped with a bed, a study table, study chair, almirah and an easy chair.

Additionally, the hostel also has its own committee and clubs, to facilitate a student’s personality development.
