Avadh Girls Degree College Admission 2024

The admission at Avadh Girls Degree College Lucknow is strictly based on the merit obtained by the candidate in the previous education followed by counselling or interview. Based on the merit, a list of students is prepared which is available on the official website of the college.
Eligibility for BA and B.Com courses is 10 + 2 passed from a recognized board while the same for MA course is BA passed from a recognized university.
If the name of the candidate is on the list, then she is eligible for admission in the college. All original documents/certificates must be presented at the time of Counselling/interview.

The application mode for admission is online. The candidates need to follow the given steps to proceed with the admission:

Fill all the personal details, academic details and contact details in the space provided. Remember to save each section and then proceed to the next one
Upload the required documents supporting education qualifications and other reservations, if applicable
Finally, enter 'submit' to review the filled application form. Take a printout or save the application form. No need to send the copy to the college

Avadh Girls Degree College Scholarship

Avadh Girls Degree College supports the education of girls coming from the economically weaker sections of the society by means of a tuition fee waiver or free books. This provision is made available to meritorious students of undergraduate courses.
To avail the scholarship, the students are required to submit the application to the coordinator’s office by the end of August.
There is a provision of Welfare Scholarship for students coming from SC, ST, OBC, General and Minority categories as well.

Avadh Girls Degree College Facilities

National Service Scheme (NSS): NSS aims towards the personality development of the students by voluntary selfless service to society. There are three NSS units in the college. Membership for the same is voluntary. Members of this scheme who attend the Annual N.S.S. Camps are awarded certificates. Being a member of NSS is an advantage since percentage weightage in admission to courses like B.Ed etc is given to students who have been enrolled in NSS for two years and attended one year annual NSS camp.
National Cadet Corps (NCC): The National Cadet Corps (NCC) provides opportunities to the youth for an all-round development with a sense of duty, commitment, dedication, discipline and moral values so that they may become able leaders and useful citizens. The NCC provides exposure to the cadets in a wide range of activities, with a distinct emphasis on social service, discipline and adventure training. The NCC is open to all regular students of the College on a voluntary basis. There are only 100 seats which shall be allotted on a first come first serve basis.
Extracurricular Activities Clubs: The college encourages talents in students apart from academics. For this matter, there are various activity clubs to enhance the hobbies and hidden talents of the students.
