College of Engineering, Bhubaneswar Faculty of Engineering and Technology of Koustuv Group of Institutions (KGI) has been offering technical education since 1999. The institute is located in the eastern region of India, at the heart of the capital city of Bhubaneswar, OdishaCOEB is approved by the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, Government of India and affiliated to Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT Rourkela), Government of Odisha, and accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The institute has achieved ISO-9001: 2008 Award by CARE Certification Private Limited in the year 2014. 

The college offers various undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the discipline of Engineering & Technology, Management and Computer Application. COEB Admissions are done on the basis of the candidate's performance in the state and national-level entrance exams. COEB has both faculty and student chapters of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) and the Institution of Engineers (IE).

The college also has a dedicated Training and Placement Cell headed by professionals and experts who provide placement assistance to its students. COEB has produced more than 3000 successful alumni who are being groomed here to excel in their area of specialization, are now working in reputed organisations in India and abroad, and have contributed immensely to the cause of nation-building and society. The institute has various departmental and institute-level societies and clubs to encourage students to look beyond examination-centric learning.
