PUMBA Admission 2025
- The admission into the MBA course is based on MAH-CET scores, followed by the CAP Counselling conducted by DTE Mumbai.
- The candidates clearing the minimum cutoff of PUMBA will only be eligible for CAP counselling.
- Around 3-4 rounds of cutoff will be released for MAH-CET.
PUMBA Cutoff 2024
PUMBA has released the MAH MBA CET 2024 cut-off for Round 1 and the All-India cutoff is 99.91 percentile. The general cutoff for the home university seats allotted to the home university candidates is 98.16 percentile and the general cutoff for other than home university seats allotted to other home university candidates is 99.57 percentile. Ques. Are hostels available for PUMBA students?
Ans. The department does not have a separate hostel facility for the students. However, Pune University hostels have few seats reserved for PUMBA students. It is available to 20 male and 20 female students of PUMBA every year.
Ques. What is the fee structure for the MBA program at PUMBA?
Ans. For the General Category, the fee is INR 65,000 per year for an MBA. For a whole year, the program costs down to INR 1,30,000.
Ques. Why do I pursue MBA from PUMBA? What makes it different from others?
Ans. PUMBA follows a trimester pattern for MBA which consists of 6 trimesters over a span of 2 years. It is a unique course because of the autonomous status of the University Department. The course has been designed by experiential professionals keeping in mind the needs of the industry. Students joining the course at PUMBA will help them to change the industry dynamics. Additionally, the department offers an MBA in 4 specializations i.e. Marketing, Finance, Systems, Operations, and Human Resources.
Ques. What are the cut-offs for the program for the last few years?
Ans. The cut off for the General category is typically around 97% in the entrance exam. For previous years' cut-offs, you can visit the DTE website for the last couple of years.
Ques. Is MAT score accepted for admission in MBA?
Ans. As per the guidelines laid by the Maharashtra government, the score of MAH CET or CAT will only be considered. Students who have appeared in one of these exams can take admission in the MBA program.
