About DY Patil Education Society - [DYPES]

D.Y. Patil Education Society, popularly known as D.Y. Patil University, is a self-financed deemed to be University. The society started its Medical College in 1989. It is a reputed medical university of Maharashtra. The University got its name after the great and brilliant educationist Padmashree Dr. D.Y. Patil. It is providing with some of the finest and fantastic facilities by availing which a student can be able to become a great doctor in the near future. There are 14 collaborative faculty members and 20 full time research scholars working under difference projects sanctioned by DST, DRDO, CSIR, New Delhi and BRNS, Mumbai.

Hostel	There are separate hostels for boys and girls. The buildings are close to each other on a walking distance within the campus and are named after legendary people. The hostels have secured Wi-Fi facility for students.
Conference Hall	A good and spacious conference hall is required so that the students can actively participate in the various conferences that are needed for various interactions with other world-class doctors. There are 1000 projectors and that too are having internet accesses. Television set is also there VHS, CD or VCD is there so that the students can use them for events, meetings, presentations, lectures, and conferences.
Computer Lab	The computer is very friendly for the students. The computer labs have an internet connection that too very fast and serve well. The labs are also air-conditioned so that the students can work under any condition.
