For First Year Diploma, valid ranking in JEECUP Polytechnic Exam is needed to get shortlisted for Counselling after scoring prescribed marks in X. Compulsory subjects in X- Science and Mathematics. There is no upper age limit. For Second Year Diploma, 10+2 and 10th marks along with a UPJEE Polytechnic exam valid ranking is taken for admission. Online process take place to initiate the admission into the institution.

Candidates can fill the UPJEE Polytechnic form from their official website at http://jeecup.org/ with a fee of INR 300 and INR 200 for UR and ST/SC/OBC candidates respectively.
