  • Visit the college website at https://sabangcollege.ac.in/ and click on UG admissions.
  • Firstly, the candidate needs to get registered using his/her mobile number and password (create a new password).
  • After successful registration, logout and login again using the user ID and password and fill in the personal and educational details.
  • Next, upload the required documents like scanned passport size photographs, signatures, 10th and 12th standard mark sheets, etc. 
  • Save and submit the form after filling in all the details.
  • Next, select the subjects of your course and click on submit. You can choose more than one course from the table.
  • After filling in all the details, you need to make the payment which can be done through UPI/ BHIM/ PhonePe / Net banking/ Debit or Credit card.

Sabang Sajani kanta Mahavidyalaya Midnapore Scholarships

Two categorical scholarships provided by the institution are as follows: 

  • Swami Vivekananda Merit- cum- Means Scholarship: The scholarship aims to provide financial help to the meritorious students belonging to economically backward families of West Bengal. This scholarship is sanctioned to the deserving students on merit-cum-means criteria. The student should score at least 75% in his/ her last qualifying examination to avail the benefits of this scholarship.
  • Kanyashree: The objective is to ensure that the girls receive all the help that they need to complete their education. It aims at improving the status and well-being of the girl child and provides financial help to the girls willing to pursue higher education.

Some of the facilities provided by the institution are given below. 

  • Central Library- The library has grown in size and content since its establishment in 1970. It has a collection of more than 30,000 volumes of textbooks, reference books, and printed journals. Over the years, the library has been adapting to modern technology.
  • Hostel- There are total of three hostels at Sabang College, two are for males and one is for females. The male hostels are named as Swarupananda and Chatrabas and the female hostel is named Nibedita Chatri Niwas. The hostel provides proper electricity, quality meals, and Wi-fi facilities, etc.
  • Virtual Classrooms- The institution provides virtual classrooms so that students and teachers can be connected through the internet while being miles apart from each other. The classrooms are alienated with high speed internet and sophisticated IP camera that can be used for video conferencing with other such systems. 
  • ICT Enabled Classrooms- The college has been adapting to modern technologies by partnering with ICT. The virtual classrooms are contained with computers and audio-visual systems to facilitate better learning. 
  • Gymnasium and Yoga centre- The College believes that the proper fitness of the student leads to better academic results and hence provides such facilities so the students can stay fit and relax at the same time. The college also provides playgrounds for different types of sports.
