Satavahana University (SU), established in 2008, is a state university located in Karimnagar, Telangana. The university has nine faculties and offers UG, PG, and doctoral programs under the aegis of Science, Law, Commerce & Management, Oriental Languages, Arts and Social Sciences. The specializations offered by the institution are: Botany, Chemistry, Computer Science and Food Science & Technology, Physics (Instrumentation), and Mathematics. SU Karimnagar Admission

Satavahana University provides admissions to all UG and PG courses on the basis of merit in the qualifying examinations except for Ph.D. courses. Admissions to Ph.D. courses are provided to candidates who qualify UGC-NET/CSIR-NET/ SET (Andhra Pradesh) (Telangana) /JEST/ GATE/GPAT examinations with good ranking in the concerned subject followed by interview. The Eligibility criteria will be different for each of the course ranging from passing in 10+2 exam to holding the PG degree.

Application mode is both offline and online.

Application Procedure:

Visit the official college website.
Locate the ‘Applications’ tab.
Fill in all the personal and academic details in the application form correctly.
Submit the application form.
Also, attach a passport size photograph and submit it along the application form.
Payment of fee has to be done offline in the office only.
For all the applicants who have downloaded the form online through the college website, a Demand Draft payable at any nationalized bank branch in Karimnagar is to be drawn in the favour of The Registrar, Satavahana University. All of these are to be posted to the following address:

Satavahana University provides various placement and internship opportunities to the eligible and deserving candidates of its institute with its placement cell. Library- The university has a central library which provides reading material for students, scholars, teachers, and non-teaching staff. The central library is divided into circulation section, periodical section/competitive section/Newspapers/Magazines, Stack Section and also provides internet facilities in the ground floor. The library contains many journals, magazines, and E-Books.

Student Welfare Centre- University has a student welfare centre to guide the students regarding their academics and career. The main motto of this centre is to motivate, guide, and train all the students and make them responsible citizens in the society.

Health Centre- The university health centre provides all primary medical facilities like first aid, treatment, and medicines to the students in campus at free of cost. Ambulance facility is also provided to students if needed.

Hostels- The institute provides its students with hostel facilities for both boys and girls. Boys hostel is also attached with a well-furnished kitchen and mess that can host 150 students at a time.
