S.B.B. College of Physiotherapy

SBB College of Physiotherapy is affiliated to Gujarat University, Government of Gujarat run by Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation Medical Education Trust (AMC MET) registered under the Gujarat state council for Physiotherapist (GSCPT) and the Indian association of Physiotherapists. (IAP). The college was established in 1999 offering Bachelor of Physiotherapy course to the students. Initially the seat intake was 30 seats but the current intake capacity is 59 with EWS quota. In the year 2006, Masters of Physiotherapy course was started and offers 5 specialties. SBB College of Physiotherapy is rated as 3 Star Institution in the category of ‘Colleges’ on the basis of comprehensive performance metrics as set out in the Gujarat State Institutional Ratings Framework (GSIRF), 2023.

SBB College of Physiotherapy is attached to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (SVP Hospital) having capacity of 1500 beds. The institute manages Geriatric Rehabilitation Department on 9^th floor of SVP hospital. SBB College of Physiotherapy has a well established physiotherapy out patient department treating almost 350 patients of all specialties per day. The students along with the stafff members are involved in treating more than 150 indoor patients daily.
