SRM University Chennai Entrance Exam

SRM University Chennai conducts entrance exams for admission to its various courses. The admission tests are conducted separately for different branches of study.

SRMJEEE

SRMJEEE Or SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Exam is conducted for admission to B.Tech. programs offered at SRM University campuses across Chennai, Haryana, and Andhra Pradesh. The minimum eligibility requirement for applying to SRMJEEE is 10+2 in the science stream with a minimum of 60% marks.

SRMJEEE 2024 Exam Pattern 

SRMJEEE has five sections such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, English and Aptitude. Candidates opting for B.Tech Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Bioinformatics and Genetic Engineering have to attempt the Biology section instead of Mathematics.

• The duration of SRMJEEE 2024 is 2 hours 30 minutes. 
• The exam paper consists of 125 multiple-choice questions and 1 mark will be awarded for each question.
• There is no negative marking. 
• The application fee for SRM JEEE 2024 is INR 1200.

SRMJEEM 

SRM JEEM is the qualifying joint entrance exam for MBA programmes at SRM University Campuses. Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum aggregate of 60% are eligible for the examination. There is no age limit. SRM JEEM will be conducted only at 8 test centres all over India. The application fee of 1200 INR can be paid online or offline through a DD in the name of SRM University.​

SRMJEEM 2024 Exam Pattern 

SRM JEEM 2024 is a computer-based test conducted by SRM Institute of Science and Technology Chennai. The duration of the exam is 2 hours and 30 minutes. The exam paper consists of 5 sections namely: Data Interpretation, Quantitative, Reasoning, English, GK/CA/BA. Each section consists of 20 questions and each question carries 3 marks. The candidates must answer 100 objective-type questions. There is no negative marking.

SRM University Chennai Facilities

SRM University is located at SRM Nagar, Kattankulathur. The main campus is well connected by road, rail and air. The nearest airport is Chennai Airport and the nearest railway station is Potheri railway station. SRM University offers bus facilities for the students that cover major areas in the city. Online bus booking facility is also available. Given below are the details of the nearest stations to SRM University:

Note: Those coming from other states of India by train, should get down at the Chennai Central Station, come out and take the pedestrian subway and reach 'Park' suburban metro rail station. Tambaram (TBM) and Chengalpattu (CGL), two routes are available. If you take the train to Chengalpattu, you can directly reach Potheri railway station (opposite of the SRM main campus). If you take the train to Tambaram, then get down at Tambaram and reach the local bus stand and take T60 or T60 LSS bus. Get down at SRM or Potheri stop which takes 20 mins from the Tambaram to reach SRM IST.
