The admissions for UG and PG programs are based on entrance examinations. However, Ph.D. admissions are merit-bases.

The admissions of UG courses i.e. B.E./B.Tech is provided based on TNEA or JEE Mains scores followed by documents verification at TNEA Facilitation Centers.
The admissions of PG courses i.e. M.E and M.Tech are based on scores obtained by the students in the GATE examination. However, if a candidate has not appeared in GATE, he can get admission based on the TANCET exam conducted by Anna University.
For MBA and MCA programs, candidates are required to apply for TANCET.
