Established in 1993, Arun Jaitley National Institute of Financial Management (AJNIFM) is a registered society, under the Ministry of Finance, Government of India. The Institute offers a unique Financial sector-centric Two-Year MBA (Finance) Degree program conferred by Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), with a focus on Financial Analysis, Financial Modelling, Financial Products, Big Data Analytics, Financial Markets and Risk Management. AJNIFM offers modern on-campus facilities for its students. • Degree from JNU: MBA (Finance) is aimed to be India’s most comprehensive program on financial markets of Arun Jaitley National Institute of Financial Management (established by Ministry of Finance, Government of India). On successful completion, the MBA degree would be awarded by Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.
• Certification by NISM, SEBI: Eight certifications including mandatory certifications from NISM, SEBI is a part of the MBA (Finance) Programme. This facilitates students to act as Capital Market participants.

AJNIFM offers MBA in Finance program at the postgraduate level. The eligibility of the course offered is mentioned below: 

For Private Participants

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent awarded by any of the universities with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/PWD candidates).
• Candidates must have qualified in any one of the All India Common Admission Tests i.e. CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT or GMAT and submit valid test scores not more than 2 years old followed by GD&PI.
• The upper age limit is 30 years on the date of commencement of the program.
• The Reservation Policy will be as per Jawaharlal Nehru University norms.

For Corporate Executives

• The maximum age of the participant should not exceed 50 years on the date of commencement of the program.
• A minimum of 3 years of work experience is required at the time of Commencement of the Program.
• The participant should submit a NOC/Sponsorship Certificate from the respective organization.
• Rest of the norms are the same as applicable to the private participants mentioned in para A of the eligibility criteria.

For Government Officers

• The minimum percentage of marks at the graduation level should be 50%.
• The maximum age of the participant should not exceed 50 years on the date of commencement of the program.
• Officers at the middle/senior level working with the Central or State Governments or similar participants from foreign countries are eligible to apply for admission.
• Government officers are exempted from Common Admission Tests i.e. CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, GMAT.
