B. P. Marine Academy was formed on the 5th of December 1997 with the objective of imparting marine related training to seafarers and thereby achieves an overall improvement of the quality of seafarers. The marine academy offers a wide range of degree programmes in the field of hospitality management, tourism, nautical engineering, etc. It is the policy of B. P. Marine Academy to impart training, which will adhere to the legislative requirement, meet the National and International standards and the guidance from the industry codes wherever applicable. BPMA is committed to imparting this training in a consistent and concrete manner aiming at the satisfaction of the trainees in the area of their needs and requirements and that of the seafarer’s employers.
