Baihata Chariali B.Ed. College, Assam was established through a team of dedicated social thinkers and lovers to promote educational development in the region by providing trained manpower supply to teaching profession and began to function at a rented building and later it was shifted to its own permanent building in the year 1996 and enjoys recognition from this national statutory body since 1997. It creates awareness among all concerned about the necessity and importance of teacher education at the secondary level of schooling and instills the spirit of quality-consciousness in all concerned for education.
