Banarsidas Chandiwala Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology located in New Delhi was established in 1999 under the aegis of Shri Banarsidas Chandiwala Sewa Smarak Trust Society, a charitable Society working in the field of Health & Education since 1952. BCIHMCT is ranked among the Top Ten Hotel Management Colleges in the Country as per India Today - MDRA Survey in 2024.

BCIHMCT is the first Hotel Management Institute affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. BCIHMCT is accredited with NAAC A+ grade, an autonomous body under UGC, as a Quality Institution. The institute is approved by AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education) Ministry of HRD, Government of India. Banarsidas Chandiwala Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology offers a four-year degree in Hotel Management & Catering Technology (BHMCT). Admission to the course is based on the Common Entrance Test conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.

Banarsidas Chandiwala Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology also offers modern amenities like well-furnished separate hostels for boys and girls, an audio-visual room, a library, an Auditorium & Conference Room Computer Lab/ Language lab, a Housekeeping Lab and much more. Further, BCIHMCT provides placement support to the students and 96.01% of students were placed during the 2024 batch placement.
