BSHM Bhubaneswar is one of the institutes of India equipped with the latest and state-of-the-art equipment and facilities. The following are the details for the same:
Front Office Lab: Front Office lab is well equipped with all modern accessories ranging from the front desk, telephone, hands-free reservations, Whitney rack, Bell desk, Computer terminals.
Food Production Lab: The students go through cookery practical in the Advanced Training Kitchen. To supplement these skills, regular demonstrations are given by the faculty and Industry Professionals in the demonstration kitchen.
Food & Beverage Service Lab: Students learn the techniques of Food and Beverage Service - Training Restaurant and Bar I & II. BIITM has its own F&B lab with 1 advanced Training restaurant with a bar, cafeteria/fast food restaurant with 25 seating capacity. The F&B Service lab is equipped with all the amenities which assist the students during their practical classes.
Housekeeping Lab: The housekeeping lab is equipped with the most modern equipment like the Wet & Dry Vacuum Cleaner, Washing Machine, Steam Press, Maid's Trolley, and Linen Basket Trolley, etc. The department has 3 Model-Guest rooms i.e. Suite room, Double room, Twin room where the students can do the practical training. The Department also consists of a Laundry-Linen room and Housekeeping Lab.

Ques. How are the accommodation facilities of the institute?
Ans. The institute provides hostel accommodation for both boys and girls. The girls’ hostel is within the campus and the boys’ hostel is outside the campus within the walkable distance.
- Hostels are well equipped with basic facilities like airy and furnished spacious rooms with 24-hour electricity, water, cable connectivity and shift-wise security staff.
- The hostel offers clean and comfortable living conditions in an environment-friendly atmosphere.
- Every student in the room is provided with a single bed, study table, chair and a cupboard, running hot & cold water, filtered cold drinking water, generator, inverter and incoming telephone call facilities.

Ques. How does the institute conduct its Industrial Training Program?
Ans. BSHM Bhubaneswar maintains a liaison between the industry and the students by helping them to participate in a 22 weeks program that offers practical training at different hotels in India. This training involves the four core operational departments in a hotel: Front Office, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage Service and Kitchen. On successful completion of the Industrial Training, students receive a Certificate & Appraisals from Hotel to support the development of appropriate attitudes and behaviors during their training tenure. Training cell also organizes expert/guest lecturers & Industrial visits to give a deep insight into the industry to their students.

Ans. The total course fee for BHM is INR 2,20,000.
